If you liked the original Reigns, then this is very similar, except you can hold items this time...and upgrade them. I admit, it eventually had to Google a few of the final steps to unlock the "true" ending, but the game was fun all around. It's a good time-waster, for sure, and I'm always happy when a game has neither in-app purchases nor ads. I think I got more time and overall enjoyment out of the first one, but this is a worthy sequel.

I love this game. On the one hand, the dialogue and characters are witting and charming enough to make the game funny. At the same time, the characters and the dark background lore give this simple game a depth that makes me want to explore every route! I give a 4/5 just because some of the objectives are very cryptic and it makes me wonder if they can only be done by lucky chance (in which case, that'd be too bad). But please PLEASE consider getting this!

So fun, I have definitely died the most times because of the damn church they are the woooorst but what a blast to learn and progress this interesting story as well as just having a fun time seeing how many ways you can die. My best was 42 years, Rachel the elder she was boss! Next after that is only 18 years XD. Such a blast get this game you will have fun!

Really amazing game. The repetition makes it flow well. I've played it for 2 years and have yet to win in any other way than eclipse so ya know. I do wish the deaths were a bit more nuanced, queens should only be crushed to death by in-love peasants so many times.

Almost everything about this game is better than the first. I really like the clever writing and the incorporation of tools adds a whole other layer to the game that is delightful. The characters are enjoyable and fun. The ending is a major step-down for me and I was not even a big fan of the first one's ending. The puzzle at the end doesn't make sense and the meta 4th wall-break doesn't fit and ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth that I haven't really gotten over

I would give the game five stars but there is a resolution issue on the S20+. Hiding the camera cutout used to fix the issue, but this doesn't seem to work anymore. It's also annoying to have to keep doing this when I want to play.
