Short review: Don't buy this. Stick with the free app and just buy everything. I got this thinking it was the same as the other Digivice but with everything unlocked, but no, it has LESS digimon than the free app. This was so disappointing.

I like the concept and I'm sure it's headed to be a great game. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong with the digivolving or how much dp it takes to go from baby to in-training but I think it's a bit confusing as it is. I'm left wondering if there's a reason I can't add all of my accumulated dp into my attempt if I want instead of it just taking 1 or whether it's some kind of control that's not working on my part. It lacks a bit of description I think. I think it would be cool if, like the old digivice toys instead of constant battles you have the odd find, or tip or what ever. Just things that could help you along the way. Also instead of what seems to be stages per dot, I think a stage should be a map in which any dot is selectable and you move onto stage 2 through completing all the dots on the current map. Also, if far more dp is needed to make a digivolution simply to in-training, I don't think your first opponent should be a champion level forcing you to keep repeating yourself and failing until you may have enough. I like this, but as it is I think the star rating is fair and hopefully if a few things are tweaked and made better I'll want to add more :)

The game ends and deletes all your digimon. You never reach mega and the digimon you worked hard on raising is gone for good.
