This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Gridots on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Place dots on board's crosses and capture opponent's dots. Captured dots are removed from a board and opponent score is changed accordingly. The score is computed from a number of placed dots on board.
Player with more dots on board won.


RULES:
* Each player starts with limited number of dots (see GAME OPTIONS).
* Dot is encircled if all paths towards it are occupied by opponent dots.
* The neighboring (connected with paths) dots form groups.
* SPECIAL RULE: Player loses dot/s if the dot is placed inside an encircled area and causes the whole
group of dots to become encircled. The part of the board where these dots were laid is removed
and hole is created. The evaluation algorithm first evaluates current player's loses and then opponent's.


GAME OPTIONS:
* Online and offline game modes
* Choose dot color, blue or light red.
* For offline games you can choose from various time (time-per-game) budgets.
* Available board sizes are 7x7 (starts with 24 dots), 13x13 (84 dots), 17x17 (144 dots) and 19x19 (180 dots).
* In online game mode the 17x17 grid is used with timeout 600s
