This is a game about falling blocks. That’s all it never needs to be because It’s timeless. It doesn’t need multiplayer, it doesn’t need battle royale, it assuredly doesn’t need a “gameshow” with a corny script. No matter how much time goes by, there will always be people who will play a game like tetris. If you want to remain competitive - stop selling out your franchise. You keep trying to adapt tetris to different genres unnecessarily.

I’ve played Tetris on mobile for a while, and the game is pretty nice overall. Some of the controls still felt a little off, but it was still Tetris. Ever since they added the game show, the app lost the Tetris feel. It’s interesting that they added Tetris Prime for players who want to try for money, but the ad-roll in the beginning feels like one of those YouTube ads on “how to build your own online business” that people immediately skip. It’s a shame they don’t let people who just want to play

For the last few hours I have been unable to get the Tetris app to work. I can open the app just fine, and can see that I have an inbox notification (likely cash prize). When I click on it none of my messages show up and there’s just a button that says “mark all as read” which does nothing. Whenever I play a game of Tetris (solo, royale, whatever) I get an ad, then see the announcer speaking instead of the game I’m playing. I can hear the game in the background but am unable to see it. "I loved this app. It was simple; play Tetris. There weren’t any ridiculous game modes, there was no crazy cash grab scheme, there was just simply playing tetris. The only real features that it had was the option to change themes of your board and blocks when you play. I enjoyed this app so much I almost considered paying $5 to get rid of the ads, and now I’m thankful that I didn’t.

I downloaded this game app to play strictly while I am at work on a device that will not be connect to any internet source what’s so ever. I specifically select offline mode and now it is stuck in an endless loop asking me to connect to the internet. I have played weeks without it ever being connected and now it is asking because, my guess, wants to keep track of leaderboards. I know I am playing solo offline, I am not competing with anyone. Fix this issue!!!

Everything was great! Loved the levels, customization, and online play b/w friends. Additionally, they offered a daily game for a chance to win money. All of a sudden, I was watching ad after ad after ad. If there’s a premium (ad free) version,cI’m in. If not I’ll be deleting the app, and moving back to a knock off version.
