This is a great app for playing Canasta. Features include: picking how many Canastas before going out, how many cards are delt, designs of card backs, how many players in a game, beginner, intermediate or expert status, very few ads. Drawbacks are: if the app is used on a phone, the ads are on the top & covers your opponent's cards. So you really have to pay attention to how many cards they are holding. There's no "back" option if you didn't mean to make that move, you are stuck. Love it!!

This is much better than the last Canasta app I tried. The graphics aren't fancy but it works, and the AI is fairly challenging. My only wish-list items are that I'd like it if it kept track of your overall stats (wins & losses) and it would be nice to have an "Undo" button.

Take a closer look at your computer opponent and you will discover that they frequently meld below the required amount for the starting meld for that round (below the required 90 or 120). If you test the system and attempt to use the exact same cards to meld, you are penalized and must redo your turn.

This is a good app. Good looking graphics. It would be very helpful to undo cards played during a turn, since mistakes happen when tapping on the little cards. The players should ask partner, "is it ok if I go out now?" before doing so. I understand the need for ads, but the full screen ad doesn't give you a chance to review the cards. Anyone who thinks the expert level "cheats," needs to improve their own game playing.

Great Canasta game except that your partner refuses to lay down any cards if you put down your cards first once you reach 120. They will throw out all wildcards though. There is also a bug that occurs when you get ready to pick up a lot of cards, it allows the pick up and then ends the turn, counting all of the points against you. Another bug happens you get ready to pick up and have only three cards, it will not allow it and makes you discard, essentially stealing a card from your hand

I have enjoyed Canasta for decades but it is difficult to find peiple to play with now that my kids have all grown up, lol. This is the next best thing. Thanks to this app I am teaching my 5 year grandson to play. I may have another partner soon. Sime of thr rules are a little different but thanks to the options I can get pretty close to the rules I am familiar with.
