This game is an great idea! I'm a plant science student and I find it useful because I can apply what I've learned here in this simulator, like crop rotations! Thank you for creating this game and I hope you continue building on it!

Hopefully it gets out of beta to be a complete game. So far it's quite good. Challenging. If we could just scroll the past harvests that would be good. Also maybe some kind of sort function for all control methods to make it easier to find what you need. Also some kind of draw function for the guided application. Thank you.

I didn't know I cared about plants or farmers before this game! And not a single ad in sight! This is subtle, complex and challenging. Casual gaming, it is NOT. Excellent game.

Extremely detailed tutorial with a lot of reading and not much doing, but it has an extremely relaxing soundtrack to aid with this. However, even though I followed the advice of the tutorial, I just kept failing. I don't mind that and I don't even mind the steep learning curve, but after 2 hours of trying everything and failing in the beginner levels, I decided it's not for me. Nice game, great idea but if you're going to give advice then it should work!

Incredible! I very much enjoyed the hour of play I've had so far, and I love learning how to manage everything! Finally, an actual mobile management game that lets you think over decisions, learn, and isn't just an idle clicker that makes you sit for hours to get upgrades without any actual gameplay. There's so much expertise behind everything, I wouldn't be surprised if the developers themselves had a background in this science. Kudos for making such a great, informing, entertaining game!

About this app

Smallholder farmers can lose up to 40% of their crops to pests and diseases. In Crop Management Simulator you help farmers face these challenges based on the principles of integrated pest management.

Crop Management Simulator has been released for Beta Testing. All levels are unlocked to allow you to explore. We recommend you complete the levels in order for your first playthrough.


As the farm advisor, you will need to develop a strategy to prevent pests and diseases from destroying a farmer's crops. A range of problems from insects and mites to fungi, bacteria and viruses will need to be defeated using your arsenal of control methods!

You have a range of cultural, physical, biological and chemicals control methods to combat these pests and diseases. All control methods have their strengths and weaknesses, and can interact with each other in helpful or harmful ways. Choose your control methods wisely, because you only have a limited budget at your disposal…

Behind the fun is an accurate simulation of the characteristics of hundreds of pests and diseases on many globally important crops. These pests and diseases will behave in the simulation as they do in reality. The range of host crops is realistic and the seasonal timing of pest attacks is modelled on real data. Changing weather patterns add to the challenge.
