This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Explorer's Tale on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Want to build a world with your friends?

The Explorer's Tale is a face-to-face role-playing game. Each of the three players chooses their role using the Explorer's Tale app, which tells them what to say to each other. Everyone else is part of an active audience.

One player is the Emperor of a court. Another player is the court Scribe, who will record what happens. The third player is an Explorer just returned from visiting a strange and new land. The Emperor asks the Explorer a variety of questions about this new land, and that's where the app comes in. The app provides dozens of random prompts, from the spread of civilizations to strange taboos.

If the Explorer goes too crazy, the Emperor or Scribe can interject, "Surely you jest!" The Explorer then turns to the audience for suggestions, which the Explorer can morph into another story.

It's a fun game that can get silly and really will help you flesh out a world.
