One of my fav clasic games. I'm an old gamer and this game is dear to me. As good as this adaptation is, I would like a bit more from it. If it's possible, could we get a multiplayer addition, and increasingly difficult levels, upon completing a wave? I'm just happy you've made it and I love sharing it with my boy. I just want a head to head with him, even if he beats me. Thank you for your efforts.

this game is spy vs spy, Great job works perfect, I actually years back bought thee mobile 3d which came with this old retro version,, and I decided to try this to see how it worked and wow it's pretty good smooth and works great I only tryed one board as a test, but it worked flawless and i didnt get a chance yet to play more but it's very good,, now if the dev would bring back more of these oldies but the better ones like this great game

Even though I am only 16, I have been brought up on a lot of old games, and this has always been one of my favourites. I have been looking for this game for a very long time and when I finally found this app, I was so overjoyed, I almost screamed, so thanx a million for making this

This is an amazing game, but it gets old quick due to poor controls. It would be nice to have an add free version available. Also a tutorial with what counters what and standard controls is unfortunately not present.

amazing. thank you. would love it to be available in head to head so you can play friends rather than just computer. but beggers can't be choosers and this is great.

About this app

Spy war is about the slapstick antics of two spies trying to kill each other with improbably complex and elaborate traps and weapons.

The object of the game is to collect various secret items in a briefcase and exit the building through a door to the airport before the opposing player, or before the timer runs out. While searching for the items, traps can be laid to take out the opponent (or the player himself, if careless). Each spy has a personal countdown timer which depletes by 30 seconds upon each death.

The arena is an embassy, constructed from a series of interconnected rooms laid out on a grid pattern. Higher levels have more rooms, and therefore a larger play area. As well as hand-to-hand combat (achieved by directional pad left and right or up and down when the spies are in proximity to each other) the spies can place traps on the furniture and doors which occupy the playing area. These traps are triggered when a spy searches a piece of furniture for an item or opens a booby trapped door, resulting in a cartoon style animation showing the subject being shot, blown up, etc, and floating up to heaven as an angel.

Strategy is introduced by limiting the quantity of each trap a spy can use, and by allowing the traps to be triggered by either spy. Some pieces of furniture also contain 'remedies' which match up to specific traps - these allow a trap to be defused, but can only be fetched one at a time.
