This game is unfinished and not very relaxing to play as it is advertised.
First off, the sound effects, the one bit of sound effects, will cut out if
you move around the menu too fast and won't turn until you close out of the
game and re-enter. For a game this simple, this really shouldn't be a thing
that happens. Speaking of things that don't happen, the "Powers" selection
list is broken. When you try to hit the "select" button on the power you
want, the list just scrolls up or down like it's actively trying to avoid
your touch. I had to fight with the screen to get the triple-shot power and
all it cost me was accidentally purchasing the speed up power & constant
exiting out of the power select screen. When you do get to use a power,
it's only one at a time and completely worthless. So example, let's take
the triple shot. The triple shot is worth 160 stars. By the time I
collected enough stars for this, I have already upgraded my shot speed by a
few levels so I'm thinking, "cool, this will really help" but playing with
the triple shot active it's seemed like my shot speed reduced back to first
level. I was doing worse than I did without the triple. Ultimately, what it
comes down to is that when the developers go to patch, update, or whatever,
they have got a lot on their plate to fix and change. Shouldn't be a hard
task but it needs to be done. They need to fix the broken elements and they
need to tinker with the game mechanics or, at the very least, re-describe
what this game is because, at the core, this game is a grind-fest and that
is the furthest you can be from "relaxing."
