Sorry about the low rating. I have tried every trick I know, and the game either won't load, or freezes after the splash screens. Shame, I own this on an old rickety laptop and it's 5 star great. It's the only game my husband will play with me. Need a refund.

I loved the 1st game of the carnival , even if it was a bit heavy on the hop games. But this is just ridiculous. It's constant go here, get this tiny piece of something to get this, it's too tedious. The graphics & artwork are superb, this just isn't a game for me.

So sad this game is not what I expected the game itself would have been great except it was made so hard that I couldn't enjoy it because I had to keep reading the strategy guide

I enjoy the Ravenhearst series but the controls on this were a little tough. Some parts weren't really explained and so it was confusing as to what you're supposed to do. Some of the controls were sticky and you had to tap numerous times to select something. There were also glitches, like the map showed areas as having something to do on them but there wasn't anything to do in the area. The hint button also didn't work other than to tell you which area to go to, but once you were in that area it didn't help you if you got stuck. I liked the HOPs and mini games, and the game is really long plus a bonus chapter, which I really like. But the other bonus content (the cards, bobble heads, Isis's area) you couldn't look at later, they don't show up in the extras menu. The cards don't show up anywhere except when you actually find one and only if you select the "go to" button. So I never got to check them out after I got them all. I tried playing the solitare game once before I had picked up all the cards but it wouldn't let me select anything whatsoever. You also couldn't look at the achievements except when you earned one, but they didn't tell you what you earned the achievement for. So I had no idea what goals to go for or how I did. It's a fun game for the most part but A LOT of technical glitches.

The hidden pictures and mini games were great, but the hint button rarely works and some things that you have to click on won't work. The game was just okay.

The puzzles were a bit convoluted and repetitive. It was not one of Elephants better game. 😕
