One of my favorites now. It is challenging...the hint button didn't really help much, other than to tell you nothing to do here now, unless there was something to be done at that scene...so one has to wander around to find the right places to be at (a good memory is required). On the other hand, one has to work it out in their head a bit. Many types of games and puzzles. Great story. For help, there is the guide to fall back on. Please make more of this style of games.

A detective story that actually feels like you're figuring things out as you go. I played on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. Tips i picked up: When using items from your inventory, click and drag to where you're trying to use it. In HOGs, items are sometimes hidden in the shadows, partially seen, or blended in really well. And map only indicates the next major move, not all the steps and tasks you might need to take in order to move on. Having a good memory is helpful. Enjoy!

My fingers are still getting used to the non-Artifex Mundi controls, but this is a fantastic addition to the genre. Amazing visuals, great music, fantastic HO scenes where you build something from all the parts you find (rather than search for random items), fluid performance on my oldest tablet. No negatives so far. Easily the best cinematic and graphics i have seen in a HOPA game to date (April, 2015). Absolutely gorgeous scenery. The HO scenes are somewhat brutal, often hiding 75% of an object behind other stuff, but they're solvable.

This game has the most beautiful graphics! Also having the guide at hand is really nice if/when you get stuck. Not having to get out of the game to look up help on line kept me more interested in finishing the game rather than quitting because I had to leave it just to get a little help. Great job Big Fish! Can't wait til the sequels available!! : )

My favorite type of game!! Wish there were more like it! I have played them all!!! When will u have more? 11,2018 I own 4 of these games and love them. However currently none of them are working. It says it's downloading but all I get is a blank screen. Please fix so I can play again. Thank you reen

I got hooked on Blue Tea games when I downloaded Nightmare at the Nightingale on my iPad. When I switched to an Android tablet, I went looking for a new game to replace Nightingale and found Dark Parables. I love these games. The graphics are beautiful and the puzzles are not too frustrating. I highly recommend!
