It is par excellent app to improve your chess opening. Prepare your repertoire for white and black for different openings. One can practice particular line for whatever No of times one expects. One can play a line 10 to 15 times or more. One remarkable feature is, you can play with engine from any position of repertoire. Also you can improve your opening by spaced repeatation. I think bad move cannot be entered in repertoire that should be allowed. 500 characters are less to express.

This is the best app I have ever used. Very intuitive and with all the settings and features that matter and was searching for and could not find elsewhere. Tried the opening training tools of all known sites and none had some basic features that I wanted. Most of their settings were around spaced repetition leaving very little else for you to setup according to your needs. Was so frustrated that I even thought of building my own training tool (I am a developer after all) but couldn’t quite believe that no one else had done something close to what I wanted. Therefore, I searched deeper for one last time and I came to this. That might explain why to my eyes looks like an oasis in a desert and why I am so enthusiastic about it. Few of the things that I like: 1) It is very intuitive and every feature is perfectly explained. You don’t need to be one of its developers in order to demystify what some of its settings exactly do (unlike other tools). 2) It has both full coverage and spaced repetition, together with stats, which you can erase after some time and try from scratch. Exactly what I wanted, since you want to cover all your lines and after learning them, the best way to test your knowledge is to reset the stats and see how close to 100% you can get. Full coverage is a must, instantly comprehensible stats and ability to reset them are a must as well. 3) You can either play all moves or start after a predefined number of moves. This is also very helpful, because sometimes it is cumbersome to play all moves from start, but other times might be confusing to start from let us say move 6, without having played the previous moves. This setting is a must also. 4) The move browser is nice, giving you a quick look to all opponent’s moves. 5) Every screen has a tone of features and information perfectly arranged in such a small space that looks like a design miracle. 6) Importing and managing your openings works well and effortlessly.

I was looking for this sort of chess tool for a while. It is very much worth the price! The interface is easy to use. Perfect for when you watch opening videos and want a way to record the moves to practice later on or going through opening books or even memorize games if you wished. You can also write explanations for each move which overall, makes for the perfect opening trainer so definetely look to use this as my main opening trainer to use offline. Thanks!

In chess, a winning game starts with the very first move. It doesn't matter how creative you may be in the middle game or endgame if you lose the opening. Your goal while playing the opening is to reach a familiar and comfortable position.

This app will help you define a complete chess opening plan and will train you to execute it. It will also allow you to define mid-games or end games if you also want to train on these aspects of the game. The app uses an proven memorizing technique called "spaced repetition" which is probably be the most powerful technique in existence for improving your brain's ability to recall what you study. It continuously identifies moves that give you more challenge and helps you to improve by using an effective pattern of repetitions. The perfect execution of the plan you have prepared will give you an advantage against any opponent, even more so when it comes to timed games.

The concept is very simple: you select and enter only one move for your own color (your best move) and then you enter all possible opponent's moves in response to your move.
