River Tubin’ is a retro style, side scrolling (top to bottom) game. Remember those old games when running out of lives and continues meant the game was over? River Tubin’ follows that same pattern creating addictive game play as you try over and over again to get one level further. In other words, if you say no on the continue screen your game is over so beware. You will have to start all over from the beginning again. However, saying no on the try again screen will not end your game. You can continue where you left off later.

River Tubin’ is set across 9 different themes including tropical, jungle, mountains and Egyptian. While tubing down a river, you will encounter obstacles such as snakes, alligators, elephants, deer, cows, mummies, and gunslingers. Touch the screen on the left or right to throw a frisbee to hit a target, open a treasure chest, or knock down a tree. As the levels get harder you can take advantage of various power ups like the coin magnet and invincibility. All that treasure collected has to be put to good use somewhere. At the Tube Shop you can use that treasure to purchase various hats and tubes that when worn in the right combination (in the right level) will enable the invincibility power up. You also have the option to submit your score to a leaderboard and unlock achievements. River Tubin’ utilizes the Emini Physics Engine to simulate realistic movement and collisions with the river bank and other obstacles.

Every 100 coins you collect will give you another life. Hit as many targets and find as many coins as you can to get the highest score and medal possible. Watch out for those bonus levels! Colliding with anything will end the level immediately.

Controls:

* tilt up, down, left and right to move the player
* touch the left side to throw a frisbee to the left and touch the right side to throw the frisbee right

Go into the whirlpool at the end of the level to finish.
