This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Penguins on Ice on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Interesting. Congratulations on your first game on play store. I am also learning to develop games for Android. I would like to suggest you could have made the game full screen in landscape mode. Also the sprites should have been of a better resolution. I know you were trying to get that retro feel. Anyway all the best.

About this app

In Penguins on Ice you play as a penguin that (more or less voluntarily) slides down an iceberg and cannot slow down. Avoid obstacles along the way to safely guide the penguin to the bottom. It's your choice, whether you want to overcome obstacles by jumping or evading them - but be aware, not all of them behave as one would expect on first sight ;)

Try to beat our 5 levels with increasing difficulty or compete with other players in the online leaderboard. Can you claim the top spot?

You can control the penguin via touch-gestures on smart phones or tablets, or via remote control and game controller on Android-TV.

Disclaimer: This application was originally designed and submitted for a 64x64 pixel low-resolution game jam. Thus, the 1:1 aspect ratio is fixed and almost all modern mobile and TV devices will show either vertical or horizontal letterboxing (depending on screen orientation). We do, however, feel that the aspect ratio is an integral part of the game's retro feel and we hope that you enjoy just that as much as we do :)
