About this app

My five month old daughter was always reaching out to touch my tablet. I couldn't find an app liked, so I made this app for her. It's a simple app for infants and toddlers. It's just six cute graphics that play animal sounds and do a little animation when touched.

NOTE: There is no Home button lock in this app and I have no plans to add one (see below for why).

For the Parents:
Other apps I've seen either bothered me because they seemed way too busy and crammed with stuff or they just seemed slapped together. I made this as simple and clean as I could. I also made it so that each sound plays once when touched. Touching multiple animals will make multiple sounds at the same time (important for learning cause and effect), but tapping the same animal over and over again will play the sound beginning to end once before playing it again. In other words, no super annoying echo effect.

Key Features for Babies:
*Smooth, clean design optimized for infants
*Landscape only layout for short baby arms (also good for T-rex's).
*No crazy, flashing, or frenetic graphics
*Teaches cause and effect

WHY NO HOME BUTTON LOCK?: Android protects the home button to keep apps from taking over the device. There are methods out there for locking the Home button but they either cause compatibility issues or are basically hacks that have you reassign your Home button to launch their app. I wouldn't install something like that on my own devices, so I'm not going to make one. This app is not meant to be a played alone anyway, it's primarily meant to be a play experience to share with your child.
