This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AR Tanks BTW on PC Windows and Mac.

About this app

This release is in alpha version (ocasional bugs to be squashed and functionality to be added) It is prepared for demo purposes and released during the Bucharest Technology Week exhibition between 27-29 May 2016.

The Goal is to develop the game further to allow for a polished release later in the summer.

Please note, that to enjoy the game you require a physical copy of the target graphics (first screenshot). The size of the printed target scales the game, so for a more immersive experience we recommend making it at least 30x30cm (12x12 in.)

AR Tanks combines the board-gaming multiplayer tradition with the addictiveness and fast-paced gameplay of the classic NES arcade game Battle City in Augmented Reality. You can crash, blow-up, push or trash-talk your opponent to victory.

Take control of one of the tanks in a free-for-all battle to find out who can dominate the battlefield.

Highlights include:
• Engaging battles of up to 8 players who face-off both in real-life and on the virtual battlefield
• 4 Tiers of tanks, which can upgrade their projectiles to destroy even the strongest concrete
• Destructible environment creates new tactical options
