About this app

By travelling on the world map, kids discover seven cities in seven different countries: Italy, Great Britain, China, Brazil, USA, Greece, Russia.

While playing, kids learn about major landmarks and can listen to the real sounds of cities: the Big Ben bell, Frisco cable car, San Marco bell in Venice...
There is more to come! Having completed the skylines, by picking the buildings and setting them in the right place, children can dive into some typical events: for instance, they visit Venice with high-tide and Rio with the Carnival!
The young traveller who has explored all cities is rewarded with a complete passport and with a free to play skyline: get ready to compose your utopian city!

Features:
– play and learn about 7 beautiful foreign cities: Venice, London, Rio de Janeiro, Shanghai, San Francisco, Moscow, Athens;
– discover and learn about major landmarks and historic buildings;
– row a gondola in Venice and drive a double-decker van in London;
– get to know some peculiar events, such as the high-tide in Venice, rain in London, Carnival in Rio, practising tai-chi in Shanghai and riding a cable car in San Francisco;
– take your picture and collect all the stamps on your passport;
– compose your ideal city, using buildings and elements you have met along your journey. Save it on your camera roll, and use it as a postcard or a journey planner!

With CITIES children are trained, in a safe and secure environment, to:
_ recognize complex shapes,
_ identify color codes,
_ recognize cities landmarks.
With the help of parents and teachers, the app can be used either to teach geography or while traveling.

Art Stories Cities is the first issue of Art Stories 4fun: an interactive library of digital games that teach kids about art, architecture and history.
