This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pub Corker_A on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Pub Corker is modeled after a traditional British Isle pub game, probably found not far from the Dartboard at the village watering hole, in ye ol’ days. This is the modern version of a game that requires dexterity.

Fun for all ages (though it has a soft pub image) does not encourage imbibing.

Back in the day when corks were traditionally used to bottle brew, a game emerged using discarded beer corks. Three corks, painted black, were used as projectiles to dislodge 5 standing corks 10 feet away. We give you one cork and allow you to do some damage.

In the early 1850s corks were played on the tavern floor. Ours is the Android version, handheld and requires the same agility and equilibrium via the virtual joystick (disguised as a Token).

The thing to remember is the Tossing-Cork collides head-on, directed by the “top dot” of the Token, which is the virtual joystick. This will add points. The “logo” end of the Tossing-Cork is the back movement and responds to the bottom dot on the token joystick.

The left and right Token-Dots can ONLY nudge the Tossing-Cork in that direction.

It takes a bit to master the movement and that is where the challenge begins.

Pile up points by slamming the CIRCLE corks off their position. The game will reset when the Tossing-Cork goes out of bounds. Or you can quickly cut your losses by resetting with the “Play” button.

Scores are stored for you in the RECORD field at Top Right. And you can reset to Zero by pressing the “Reset Button” followed by the “Play Button.”

Now, in lieu of an icon player, you will find the Black Tossing-Cork is set at pitching height eager for your direction. With quick force it will speed forward to its goal. With its physics, it will fall to the floor and regain speed as you guide by Token. You can move quickly or ponder your direction and aim. It’s all determined by your agility with the Token joystick.

You can also hook up a real joystick to the .exe version.
