About this app

This app was developed under the ‘ICT in Education’ component of the READ project. READ is a flagship project funded by the USAID and implemented by Save the Children in Bangladesh. The key purpose of the project is to improve the Bangla reading skills of early grade learners. This app will help the students of grade I-III to improve their Bangla reading skills. There are five reading components - Phonemic Awareness, Letter Knowledge, Vocabulary, Fluency and Comprehension. This app contains a huge number of games on each of the components. The games create opportunities for the student to practice the reading related aspects in a very interactive way. Contents of the games were taken mainly from the Bangla textbooks of grade I-III. Some other contents were also included, which are relevant to textbook contents and age-appropriate. The persons involved in the development process of this app are:

এই অ্যাপটি READ প্রকল্পের ‘আইসিটি ইন এডুকেশন’ কার্যক্রমের আওতায় তৈরি করা হয়েছে। READ, সেভ দ্য চিলড্রেনের কারিগরি সহায়তায় এবং ইউএসএআইডি’র আর্থিক সহায়তায় বাস্তবায়িত একটি প্রকল্প। READ মূলত বাংলাদেশের প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ের শিশুদের বাংলা পঠন দক্ষতা উন্নয়নে কাজ করে। এই অ্যাপটি বাংলা পঠন দক্ষতা উন্নয়নে প্রথম থেকে তৃতীয় শ্রেণির শিশুদের জন্য সহায়ক। বাংলা পঠন দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের জন্য ৫টি উপাদান রয়েছে: ধ্বনিসচেতনতা, বর্ণজ্ঞান, শব্দজ্ঞান, সাবলীলতা ও বোধগম্যতা। এখানে প্রতিটি উপাদানের ওপর ভিত্তি করে অনেকগুলো অনুশীলন সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে। এই খেলাগুলোর সাহায্যে শিশু পঠন দক্ষতার বিভিন্ন বিষয় আনন্দের সাথে চর্চা করতে পারবে। এই অ্যাপের বেশিরভাগ বিষয়বস্তু প্রথম থেকে তৃতীয় বাংলা পাঠ্যবই থেকে নেয়া হছে। এছাড়াও পাঠ্যবইয়ের বিষয়বস্তুর সাথে সামঞ্জ্যপূর্ণ এবং শিশুদের বয়সোপযোগী অন্যান্য কিছু বিষয়ও এখানে সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে।
