Visually, it's awesome. It looks amazing and is quite mesmerising. The controls are a bit slow and unresponsive at times, but it is fun nevertheless. Other than that, my only complaint is that on some of the backgrounds, it can be hard to see what you're doing. Some music and maybe some more options such as control sensitivity and difficulty would be nice. Overall fun little game, great way to pass the time, and a brilliant take on an urban legend.

This is so cool, my only problem is that there is one unconfirmed screenshot of the polybius game and it wasn't used but other than that cool app. P.S. for all readers reading this, the YouTube channel "ahoy" did an amazing video on debunking this and if you like this game I would HIGHLY suggest watching it.

For those having issues: To start you have to click "credit" like inserting a quarter. For advanced options select "menu"-"options"-"high level"-"hack it."

The joystick has a tendency to move without you wanting it to... I mean literally it gets like jammed in the corner of the screen and you can't get it to come back

The fan made interpretation of Polybuis is good and it fits. Also go check out the video "ahoy" made on youtube about the legend, definitely worth the watch.

About this app

Polybius HD is an arcade game based on the famous urban legend polybius.
Some of the advanced options are disabled, you must enter the access code to activate them.

In the game you control a spaceship that goes around the screen. You have two game modes that will be changing with a different level. A game mode is to destroy a certain number of enemy ships to weaken the main monster and the other will have to destroy some types of enemy ships to achieve the same purpose and defeat the main monster . The number of ships that you must will destroy increase with each level.

The game is integrated with Google Play Games, with leaderboard and achievements to unlock.

The story describes players suffering from amnesia, night terrors, and a tendency to stop playing all video games. Around a month after its supposed release in 1981, Polybius is said to have disappeared without a trace.
Polybius HD course not produce any of these effects, even so visual and audio effects are used, these options are disabled by default that you must manually activate.
