About this app

Het Woordspel Groep 3 is een visuele applicatie met spelelementen gericht op kinderen van groep 3 van het basisonderwijs met het doel de woordenschat te vergroten en te onderhouden. De app is van origine gemaakt voor kinderen wonend in het buitenland met Nederlandse of gedeelde nationaliteit en die de Nederlandse taal will leren. Maar het is daarnaast ook zeer geschikt voor in Nederland wonende kinderen om op een plezierige manier de woordenschat te vergroten.

De applicatie bestaat uit 3 leeroefeningen waarbij het kind al spelenderwijs de woorden leert kennen. De oefeningen helpen om het zogenaamde kennisplantje te laten groeien. Tijdens elke oefening ontvangt het kind een beloning in de vorm van water, compost en energiedrank voor het plantje. Naarmate het spel vordert groeit het plantje en zal het uiteindelijk bloeien.

Deze app is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met de Oranje-Dijkschool gevestigd in de provincie Barcelona in Spanje. De kinderen op de school spreken Nederlands als eerste of tweede taal. De Oranje-Dijkschool staat onder toezicht van de Nederlandse Onderwijsinspectie en wordt geaccrediteerd door de stichting Nederlands Onderwijs Buitenland (NOB).
