Say hello to DaoPet, it will say hello back to you. DaoPet is a cross between a virtual pet and a chatbot.

It it talks to you, it listens to you, it sees you and it interacts with you to give you a whole new immersive experience. Dao is short for Dawkins Advanced Operator, which is our proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) neural network engine developed over years of research, which runs the core of this virtual pet. The DaoPet uses this technology to create a captivating and fun virtual friend.

The DaoPet you create will be all new to the world. It has never seen or heard anything before and it doesn't know anything yet. You must introduce it to your world and teach it your language. It may not seem like it at first but it is listening and watching what you do. It is like a newborn, the more you play with it the smarter it will become. And like a newborn, it will not learn in just one day. You reward it with positive reinforcement such as feeding it with various types of food. Unlike other virtual pets, there is no punishment or negative reinforcement. It is your job, however, to make sure your DaoPet is well nourished by feeding it daily just like a real pet.

You may notice at first that the DaoPet seems like other typical virtual animals but it is much more because with every word you say to it, DaoPet will remember those words and what you show it. In addition, because of the artificial intelligence technology, it will make decisions as to what to say. Don't be surprised if it responds in an unexpected way, it's part of the fun!

DaoPet is virtual pet that interacts with its environment via the use of the phone's camera and its microphone. As such, it requires the permission to use the camera and the microphone. It also saves memory data to the phone for learning. It is suggested to have plenty of room on your device for storage as the DaoPet continues to learn. DaoPet does not require any internet permission as it DOES NOT connect to the internet for use. All of the data that is stored is stored locally on the device. No data is shared with us or with any other parties.
