Good concept but executed very badly, needs a lot of improvements in controls, driving physics, and the overall gameplay style, could've been more like a game similar to traffic rider but once you touch the wall and the game is over, driving physics and handling is bad, you can't just peacefully listen to synthwave and drive off the sunset, the game does the exact opposite, which requires a lot of effort to play and defeats the whole purpose, a landscape mode would be better. Wasted potential👎

The good: The music is great, the atmosphere is great, the content is enough without the pass too considering it's an endless runner and is pretty relaxing. The bad: You have to pay to unlock extra cars and content but to be fair the pass is pretty cheap so it's not that bad and lastly the game has no anti aliasing and no settings option so the base game looks kinda bad. To conclude it's a nice game with issues that can be overlooked and I would recommend as it is a fun time waster.

Been watching Welcome to the 80s for a while, so glad this game finally came out! Everything is exactly as stated by developer. One more suggestion if you don't mind: would love to have a "peaceful" game mode without the timer and time cassettes and scores, where you can just cruise around aimlessly and where crashes are not as punishing. Probably the camera in this could be a little lower so you can fully enjoy the landscape and the sunset.

The Good: The game perfectly captures the 80's vibes. The visuals are stunning. Music is brilliant. The controls are really simple and easy to understand. The Bad: We can't pause the game and there is no option for menu too. I suggest you guys should make the Cassettes a currency which we could use to upgrade and customize the cars, upgrades could be handling, steering, acceleration, brakes etc. Should atleast add a healtbar for the car, a small hit at the side of the road means crash.

In my opinion, this game is fun and one of the main things that i love is the soundtracks, it really fits through the sunset scenery But here are some of my suggestions: - add a damage bar instead of instantly crashing to the guardrails because it can be annoying sometimes - add a graphics option because the gameplay can be laggy sometimes (in my experience) That's all my suggestions for now, I'm looking forward for the next update

After the update the controls are much, MUCH better! The car still feels a little bit heavy and sluggish but it's much better than before. Still lacks an health bar that allows you to not fail after just one single crash with an obstacle, but apart from those details it's such a good looking game! Good job!! Edit: the game is now just perfect. 5 full stars! Incredible job

About this app
