The classic bar game

I like that this game is closest to the rules and scoring of the old Megatouch games that were so popular in the 90s/00s. (Why Megatouch doesn't come out with an official app is beyond me. They'd make a fortune.) This game is definitely no-frills, which is OK. I prefer that to adding all kinds of useless extras. But I think this could use SOME frills. Still...if you are looking for the original Run 21, this is pretty much it. My one complaint is the timer runs down way too slowly. This not only takes away the danger of running out of time, but it makes your scores too similar. Every round I've played, my time left a has been within 2 or 3 of each other. So the scores are really ALL about my hand score. Timer needs to go much quicker. This is really a "think fast" game.

I wanted a 21 game that was simple and did not include a casino table with chips. This game is perfect for me.

Back to suck. Game repeats itself. Same cards, same order back to back

I used to play "Chug 21" all the time on the Merit Megatouch bartop video game machines. This is essentially the same game, with a few minor differences. Overall, it's a simple, addictive game that's fast and fun to play. The new version is great, and works well on my HTC Sensation running gingerbread as well as my Nexus 10 tablet running jellybean.

About this app

The object of this variation on solitare is to place cards in columns which add up to 21, without going over. The sum of the columns is then taken and the remaining time is multiplied by how close to 21 the columns are.
For example, the most you can get is 105, this will multiply the remaining time by 1,000. However, the lowest column total to get any score is 97 which multiplies the remaining time by 50. As with most card games, the Ace can be played as 1 or 11. When the column total shows Soft next to the total, it shows that the ace is being used as a 11. When placing a card on the column which takes the total over 21, it will go to being played as a 1. All face cards are worth 10 points each.
