Simple but decent, especially for younger learners, and helps keep you focused as you don't have time to get distracted. Would recommend studying the characters a bit beforehand, but this is perfect for ingraining those characters in your mind so that you know them reflexively. I think the easy mode could be a bit easier for beginners, but what would really be good would be to add the character audio (which you already have) to the characters you hit so you connect the sound with the symbol.

I LOVE the concept. It takes a long time to load each screen though on the device I'm using. It also moves very quickly across the screen and is a little hard for my brain to register which characters are on the screen. If this app could be made to work better with tablets, I'd be a happy camper as it's easier for me study on a larger screen.

This app is definitely for absolute beginners in Japanese, which is okay for them, but you can't practice any of the kanji unless you're willing to make $0.99 purchases. Having glanced through their lists, I already know all of the kanji, so this app isn't helpful and is a bit too pricey as well. The controls were also not the best and oriented strangely.

It's alright. Not the best way to learn but it helps a bit. It gets really fast too soon though which makes it really hard to play. not to mention the shapes of the planes are tricky to hit accurately. Slow it down, and choose a better ahape to replace the planes and I'd rate it higher.

cute twist on learning kana, however I think it would be good to pause for a second when there are wrong answers so you can clearly see what the correct one is. the pace makes it a little overwhelming to try and focus on what the correct answer was, the next word, and then the next set of paper airplanes. aside from that it's very nice =)

I installed this app to try to help myself learn and remember kanji. However, I found out that I was only able to go as far as passing the tutorial without having the app crash on me. It's probably just the fault of my tablet running out of storage, though, not the fault of the devs. From what I was able to experience, I thought it was cute, simple, and fun. Even though I wasn't able to get the full experience, I'm glad to have come across this app.
