Great and easy to use

Works perfectly. Saves a lot of time and eliminates any possible errors in addition. The one thing that would be a nice addition, would be a counter for future doublers and then after a hand is played the counter would be one less. The revised program is exactly what we needed and the tracking of history is an added bonus! Thanks for the update.

I like the update. Was having issue on prior version with clearing scores on a new game. Usually had to do it twice. Like the fact that it will keep a running history, and that we can now input names longer than 6 characters. Really do like the app. Does the job well.

I would give 6 stars if there were a way to set it to score a certain number of doublers and then go back to normal scoring. Hey, thanks for the update!! Everything I ever wanted :) Great job. I use the scorer all the time. Now it's even better.

Allows documenting scores w/minimal effort; app doesn't get in way but actually speeds up scoring. Love that it tracks history of picker/partner of each hand.

This app is excellent! Allows me to quickly and accurately record the score and then take part in the conversation between hands. Also, anyone can do it so I don't need to be the only scorekeeper. Neil is very generous to only charge 99 cents for this time saver. Heck, I bought a cheap Android tablet just to be able to use this app at our weekly game.

About this app

Tired of the time consuming task of keeping score or making scoring mistakes while playing Sheepshead. Well this Sheepshead Scorer app can now make scoring your Sheepshead card games a lot easier.

Up to seven players can be entered and it can score individual hands of three to seven players.

The rotate Sit Out feature can be used to automatically rotate sitting out players for each hand regardless of the number of players. And if a player leaves the game temporarily or permanently, you can just use the Left Game button to keep his score the same while you keep playing more hands. You can override any of these buttons at any point as players come or go.

Doublers and double on the bump along with reversing past hands are features also included. The Deal feature keeps track of the dealer and rotates automatically for you.

All you have to do is enter player names and then score each hand by choosing a Picker and Partner along with a hand outcome.

Additional features show player standings(scores, wins, losses, hands picked, hands partner) and history of the hands played for the game along with standings for all games played, not just the current game.

Whether you call the game Sheepshead, Sheephead, Schafkopf, or Schaffkopf, the colorful and simple user interface sure makes it easy!!!

New features

Now when a new player comes to the table to play after you already started a game, you can move existing player positions to open a seat in the correct position for the new player. This keeps the nice ordering of the players on the scoring app that matches how they are seated around the table, and then keeps scoring easier! Also, depending on device and Android version, the app should now capitalize player names automatically, whether a new game or any history you stored of players' names.
