It is good concept, unfortunately poorly done.

Great idea for a game. Unfortunately after a few boards it does small paths where it isn't brain power at use but instead is just trying to guess where a zombie might be. Of course this is the tactic since you are only allowed 2 lives per board. Oh but wait you can micro transaction for extra lives. No thank you to that.

Without the purchasable assist items, the later levels are left mostly to blind guessing. The high zombie/mine density renders lengthy risk analysis ineffective, making this a much simpler game of minesweeper which you routinely lose without the in-app purchases. Also, the free storyline ends abruptly and unsatisfyingly. The paid bonus storyline contains shallow plot twists. The final level seems unavailable upon passing the preceding level, as it just leads you back through the same level.

Long press is unreliable for a high risk input like marking a mine and takes FOREVER when you have to mark every mine. Give a button to switch between clearing and marking the square when I tap.

It looks good for the couple of levels I played but the scrolling mechanic is missing. I have to go to the main menu to scroll on the level, which is annoying.

My phone recognises the play field or game board or what have you, as a text field. So when I hold click to identify a zombie/mine, I have to let go after exactly 1 second or maybe less actually, or else my "copy, paste, select all, etc." menu comes up, and the square is not selected so I have to click a random area to make that go away so I can try again. Good news: dev replied and is working with me to try to fix it! 9/01/13
