I noticed the latest patch fixed a LOT of the issues people mentioned in the other reviews. There's new types of quizzes and trainers to unlock! I'm surprised an update came out. :)

Problem with 1st gen quiz - when I get a growlithe picture always ends up saying growlithe is the wrong answer when selected, which is a definite bug that needs fixing! Otherwise, good quiz although may need work on the effective attack questions too

The app is technically functional, but they clearly need to do more research or just plain try harder, because the answers here are about as accurate as many of those quizzes from the show in the 3rd generation. For example, I was told to pick the strongest attack against Meditite, a fighting/psychic type. I was given both Moonblast and Aerial Ace as options and both have a 2x type advantage, so naturally I went to their power to decide the winner. Because Moonblast is stronger by pure power and since both of Meditite's defensive stats are equal at 55, there is no way a Aerial Ace would be stronger, unless you were to account for the attacker's stats, which we can't do here. Given all of that, I chose Moonblast and, of course it was wrong.

Whoever made this is a pokemon noob. Sudowoodo as a pure rock type takes double damage to grass type or rock type or water type steel type or ground type. Well it gave me an option between 4 moves and asked me which would be the most effective. Two of the moves were leaf blade and aura sphere. I just went with my favourite(aura sphere...I mean...who doesn't love lucario?!)and it said it is wrong.what the ****.

It is not boring. Whoever is telling it is boring that is because they don't know the correct answer. It's just based on pokemon version games
