This was the first educational/math game that I gave to my kid and she loved playing it. The idea of tilting the phone to play/balance comes to them naturally and its great to see them play and learn rather than spend time on temple run or angry birds! :)

About this app

The Number Island is a math game aimed to boost your kid's numeracy by presenting simple arithmetic puzzles solved as part of an adventure. The game guides the player through repetitive additions in order to progress. The content is aligned with the prescribed National Curriculum in the UK, specifically focusing on Number bonds for Key Stage 2 aged 7 to 11.


The game features an adaptive learning algorithm that presents problems within the skill range of the player. It gets difficult, of course, because slaying the dragon will be a no mean task!
