Good game but the controls are terrible. If you're using the traditional button layout, you have to lift your finger off the screen to press the other direction - you can't just slide your finger from one button to the other. You also can't expand the buttons so you have to land your thumb in the exact spot. The swipe controls require you to do a swipe motion every time, so if you need to inch up to an obstacle, you can't just tap it quickly for a small movement, and will likely overshoot it.

This game had a very neat concept but is completely ruined by the ads. You get an ad when you; start a new run, die in a run (regardless of if you pick the second life or not, the second life costs an ad), go to main menu, and even just during normal gameplay. You even get unskippable audio only ads while seeing a different ad. It's all just too much for too little. Shame such an interesting gameplay mechanic is wasted here on what is essentially a commercial break.

This game has a steep skill curve. The levels are randomly generated, which means you'll encounter situations that are nearly impossible and each time you play the level is different so you can't practice difficult areas or test strategies. Ultimately it's just hard and not particularly fun as a result.

This is a good game oversaturated with ad revenue. This game plays ads when you start a run, when you die, even when you change settings. This is the first game I've ever played with audio ads running during gameplay. That's right: while you're trying to enjoy this stealth action platformer, some guy is telling you about how Ethel saved money by buying her groceries online. Gameplay is good, though. Might be worth buying the no ads, but my short attention span won't accept the $5 asking price.

I'm hooked on its geometric charm. Navigating through challenging puzzles and block jumps as a heroic cube in a visually striking black and white world is an immersive experience. What sets this game apart is its unique levels and formidable enemies, especially the Eyes, adding an exciting twist to traditional running games. After each run, enhancing my cube's stats and skills keeps me coming back for more. Sqube Darkness isn't just a game; it's my 5-star geometric adventure!!!

Good concept, look, and mechanics, with unresponsive controls, but the main problem arises with the fact that the title screen has an ad and during the gameplay there's a banner ad in a corner and has an ad that plays sound that stays on the options screen not to mention the fact that every button press springs an ad. Also, the devs don't care about the money hungry nature and brush off anyone raising concerns, and for some reason, the internet has to be on to play a single-player game 🤨
