The main goal of this application is to teach children numbers and how to write it. There is no way to avoid technique, not even adults and therefore not even children. If we dismiss the technology that surrounds us we would be technologically illiterate and therefore incapable to live in today’s society. Smart parents do not wait for their children to start school so that they can learn numbers. Children should be encouraged to learn from the day they start to perceive the world around them. Children enjoy much more in moments spent with parents where they learn new things than in hours spent in front of the television. We’ve come to the conclusion that learning numbers is really important for boosting children’s intelligence from the moment they are born.
Fine motor skills play a major role in learning writing which should be developed throughout childhood even before the child shows very interest for the pen. Fine motor skills are considered to be ability to make small, precise hand movements while maintaining good coordination between fingers and eyes. Fine motor skills are developed with age – from initial unsuccessful child attempts to use a spoon, hand movements i.e. palm movements become more precise, until the moment when the child picks up the pen and controls it by itself. The child is able to write letters within two horizontal lines. Fine motor skills represent the essential importance when it comes to learning writing. Therefore, we should pay attention to the development of these skills, even before children start school.
Mastering the art of writing is really important step in every child’s life. Writing itself, is a complex psycho – physical and motor ability and skill which represents an important mean of communication and utterance. Writing requires cognitive activity of analysis and synthesis, generalization and static load and calm demeanour throughout the whole process of writing. Psycho – motor efficiency in terms of writing depends on the level of development of coordination of movements, especially coordination of eye – hand movement, thought development, perception and attention development.
During the first three years of life, grounds for the thinking, language, attitude, ability and other characteristics are being set. Therefore, it would be a shame not to use children’s natural ability to learn during the most important years of their lives.
1. After launching the app, tap any number and there should be a picture with lines that should be followed with a flick of a finger. Drag the finger across the screen following the arrow that goes from the number in white circle to the end of circle that leaves the number.
2. The beginning of every line is marked with ordinal number so that your toddler can successfully write a letter only within two parallel horizontal lines which is shown in abc book.
