Graphics and play accurate with the 1982 arcade Dig Dug, which this game emulates. Response is somewhat sluggish, maybe updates will correct.

it's like dig dug but once you fail a level you can't continue or retry

Freezes everytime you collect or run into anything, don't download. I just wanted dig dug or something close

It is fun but controls are fiddly and cannot see score fully on Samsung galaxy ace. However for such a small team this is really good! :-)

About this app

You play PunkyD and its your job to clear the Enchanted Mine of the various monsters who have taken over.

Dig tunnels to get to the monsters and then blast them until they go away. Beware of the ghost monsters who can float through the walls and the dragons who can dig through anything.

As you work through each level collect as much of the fruit as you can for bonus points.

There are 100 levels to challenge you and each level gets slowly more difficult. The first ten levels are really easy and then the going gets much tougher.

The simple controls consist of a direction stick on the left side of the screen ( that will relocate to wherever you touch ) that moves PunkyD and digs the tunnels in the rock. Also when you touch anywhere on the right hand side of the screen PunkyD will shoot. To destroy a monster you have to repeatedly blast it until it get so large that it disappears.

Types of Monsters are as follows:

Purple Jelly Fish: these out of water creatures sting very hard and patrol the tunnels you have dug. They cannot dig there own tunnels on account of being too soft. However if they touch PunkyD then it will hurt.

Blue Globlin Bots: these lazy creatures tend to wander slowly back and forth across their tunnels throwing lightning bolts at you. Be careful as these can travel through rock.

Ghost Monster Things: these creatures stop and start, but worryingly can travelling through solid rock and will cost PunkyD a life if contact is made.

Green Dragons: probably the most difficult to avoid of all the current monsters. These creatures simply dig through rock until they get to you. Beware !
