App has been working great. Had to factory reset tablet and now DLC not showing. It has charged me for rolph and dolph a second time when trying to unlock it again

Very confusing. Never fully understood how to play the game. Now, I'm out $5. I took a chance and it didn't work. Others may figure out how to play, but the tutorial took a good 30 minutes to get through to try and understand it. In response to the reply, the game stalled. I couldn't play a card, nor could I move on in the process. That's when frustration hit. Thanks for your concern. It's just not a game for me.

Enjoying the game thoroughly. I've experienced a couple of issues unrelated directly to gameplay, by the developer has been very responsive. Based on number of plays, I'd say I've definitely gotten more than my money's worth from it.

Sometimes hangs because the die has not properly set. Also, too many instances of having no successes even with 4 dice. Not sure if your algorithm for RNG is set up properly.

About this app

Official app of the board game by AJ Porfirio and Van Ryder Games.

In Hostage Negotiator, you play the part of a law enforcement agent responsible for negotiating the release of hostages taken by an unscrupulous figure hell-bent on having his or her demands met.

Each turn in the game represents a conversation between you and the hostage taker. You'll play cards and roll dice to increase conversation points, decrease the threat level, and release hostages. Hostage Negotiator uses a unique "hand-building" mechanism that puts cards you purchase directly in your hand for next turn rather than leaving you wondering when the cards will show up like in deck-building games.

In Hostage Negotiator there are multiple paths to victory, but the hostage taker has other plans. Will you try to calm him and get him to surrender? Will you stall and bide your time before sending in the team for a major extraction? How many hostages will you save? These are many of the exciting decisions you will make in a game of Hostage Negotiator!

Features:
Play against 4 unique villains
Interactive tutorial teaches you the rules and basic strategy as you play
3D dice for tension filled conversation resolution
Statistic tracking
Autosave and Resume Last Game

New features

A new user pointed out that the Settings dialog was not being displayed correctly on a newer Pixel 3 phone. This should correct the problem for all screen sizes. As always, if you notice something that seems off that may be related to screen size, let me know about it by email so I can take a look at it.
