The ancient world was interconnected via a series of trade routes and supply lines spanning the breadth of Asia. A-Venture East is a simulation in being the leader of a caravan tasked with making their fortune navigating these trade roads. Explore historical destinations along the Silk road, manage a caravan to make sure they are always provisioned and healthy, and above all else learn to find your fortune trading the rare commodities found along the route.

By the 8th century CE the Silk Road was considered to be at its height, having its influence reach from Venice in Europe all the way to the Pacific coast of China and even into Japan and Java. For this reason many merchants set out to make a living trading the various commodities that can be found along the culturally diverse route of the silk road. Though commodities were not the only thing that was spread along the silk road; religions, sciences and cultural traditions quickly spread and became global. Buddhism owes a large portion of its central Asian following to its spread along the silk road.

The player will assume the role of a caravan leader taking a trip across the silk road. Though it was uncommon for a merchant to traverse the entirety of the route it was not unheard of. The player will actually learn and experience that the silk road wasn’t actually a road but a series or routes and pathways that made up a global network of traders, suppliers and consumers. The player will experience this by having to manage their caravan and the supplies they travel with. Chose their routes to trading hubs and destinations along the road and in the end try and turn a profit before returning to Venice.
