About this app
REQUIRED: one or more additional mobile devices running the free Amico Controller app to act as wireless game controllers over a shared WiFi network. The game itself has no on-screen touch controls.
This game is not a typical mobile game. It is part of the Amico Home entertainment system which turns your mobile device into an Amico console! As with most consoles, you control Amico Home with one or more separate game controllers. Most any mobile device can act as an Amico Home wireless controller by running the free Amico Controller app. Each controller device automatically connects to the device running the game, provided all devices are on the same WiFi network.
Amico games are designed for you to enjoy a local multiplayer experience with your family and friends of all ages. The free Amico Home app acts as the central hub where you will find all Amico games available for purchase and from which you can launch your Amico games. All Amico games are family-friendly with no in-app purchases and no playing with strangers over the Internet!

SIDE SWIPERS (First Look. Requires: 2-4 players)
Remote control your toy race car's speed on the crisscrossing course to ram other cars off the track at intersections! Knocked off players can have their revenge by triggering traps on the course to sabotage the remaining racers! Gain points for ramming, trapping, and surviving! The player with the most points at the end of multiple rounds wins!
SIMPLE CONTROLS
Controls are even simpler than slot-car racing. There are only three speeds: slow, medium, and fast. During the competition, your car auto-drives along the looping track at medium speed. Make it go slow by pressing the “slow” button or fast by pressing the “fast” button. You can also go slow/fast by pressing the disc left/right or down/up.
STRATEGY
Adjust your speed to time your crossing at intersections to ram other cars off the track and avoid being side swiped off the track yourself. When nearing the fixed trap locations, guess when other players will trigger the trap and adjust your speed to avoid the short trap window.
TRAPS
If your car is knocked off the track, you are not out of the action for that round yet! Now you get to trigger the traps! Earn points by trapping the remaining racers. The last player on the track can earn extra points by completing up to three victory laps while avoiding the traps.
You get one chance to trigger each trap on the course by tapping the trap icon on your controller touchscreen. The traps:
• Giant Magnet – Descends briefly at an intersection, holding any car it catches in place, making it vulnerable to getting side swiped by other cars.
• Brick Wall – Springs up in the middle of the road for a brief moment, knocking off any car that hits it.
• Car Stretcher – Two giant rollers move in from the sides of the road for a brief moment, squeezing any car that passes through into a longer version of itself, making it more likely to get hit at intersections.
FIRST LOOK
This version of Side Swipers is a “First Look” game. That means there is more content planned for future updates but the current version is fun to play as is with only one race track. It provides plenty of fun replay value because the challenge is in your human opponents more so than in the track. No other humans around to play with? Try out the newly added AI opponents!
The plan is to add additional tracks, traps, and cars in future updates and raise the price. If you get Side Swipers now at the low First Look price, you will get the future content updates for free!
