This is what the first game should've been. In the first game, playing correctly meant being so OP it was boring, until suddenly something randomly killed you. This game is much more balanced and requires active participation. You can play with as little or as much strategy as you want, and it just keeps expanding since there's an actual game progression. It's not just "unlock one thing and suddenly you're god". It encourages changing your strategy to adjust to changing circumstances.

I loved playing the first one, a ton of classes, a ton of unique fights and dungeons, and so many rewards, all free to play. But this one, I love most of it except for the fact that you are forced to use the gold you got to join a guild to earn rewards, which each guild having limited rewards, so you don't get the experience of having the other equipment or classes, but I would ignore all that if not for the fact that skills have a limit, that part I don't understand, skills being consumable

It's a banger. This is an improvement from the first one in every way. And it's not just a polishing, it's a creative upgrade. Auto runes are a cool way to half-automate your runs, leaving the larger choices to you. Burst mode on skills makes every one seem like a powerful ability. The soulstones and reroll mechanics are nice and encourage more use. Art and music and story are all good too.

It is quite different from the first game, it has some questionable design choices, but overall I feel this is a better foundation for the game and where it can go from here. It has a lot of positive changes and has a different playstyle than the first one. People uninstalling it and rating it 1 star because they used up all their skills their first run and died are quite literally children, maybe not age wise but definitely mentally. Can't wait to see where this goes in the future.

The only complaints I have is the steep learning curve mostly through experience, okayish graphics, and messy translations. Yet, the gameplay is fun because of the ability to customize a character's race, background, and job along with a lot of opportunities to reroll skills or equipment to make tons of viable builds. For a free game, I've been having fun without needing to pay but I'm not sure if that'll change. If you like turn-based dungeon crawlers with a dark atmosphere it's worth a shot!

This turn based RPG improves on the previous game in many ways. This sequel is packed with new mechanics and reimaged character creation that is sure to thrill even an experienced player. A particular complant I've noticed is concerning Skill Consumption, while running out of uses mid fight can be annoying, the mechanic incentivises gaining items that bolster skill uses or frequently replacing spent skills.
