Game process
Flappy Piggies Play Bird features 2D graphics gameplay. The object of the game is to control the flight of the bird, which moves continuously between the rows of green pipes. Upon collision with them, the game ends. Control is performed by touching the screen, in which the bird makes a small jerk upward. Flappy Piggies Play Bird was developed by Dong Nguyen. within a few days. The main character of the game (the bird) was developed in 2012 for another game, which was discontinued. Nguyen himself claims that every part of his games has a walkthrough, and he does not create impenetrable games.

Nguyen thinks that modern Western games are too confusing. His company, .GEARS Studios, says of its games, "It's clean, extremely challenging and incredibly fun to play."

Flappy Piggies Play Bird has received various reviews from critics. On Metacritic, the game received an average of 52 out of 100, based on votes from seven critics.

Tech editor Patrick O'Rourke of Canada.com wrote that he hates Flappy Piggies Play Bird, "an absolutely terrible video game," and that it is "one of the worst games I've ever played," and suggests that people stop playing because "it sucks."

However, more positive feedback came from Jennifer Whiteside of Amongtech.com, who suggested that the game could outshine Candy Crush Saga as the most popular mobile game of 2014 due to the addictiveness and excitement surrounding the game.

The complexity of the gameplay became a source of anger from many players, one of whom stated that it took him half an hour to reach five points.
