This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Epitorus on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

Epitorus is a deceptively simple puzzle game revolving around colored tiles.

Tap and drag a colored tile to move its row/column. This will also move all rows/columns that contain that color in the same direction. The goal is to return the tiles back to their starting arrangement. Like many games, this is easy to learn but hard to master.

About me:
I am a 20-year-old gamer, and I happen to be a Computer Science student at UC Berkeley. I made this game with the help of some friends (Gabe Freeman for art/design and Joel Terry + friends for the music).
This project has taught me so much. I have gained a much better understanding of just how hard it can be to bring even a simple project all the way through to completion, and how rewarding it is to do so. I highly recommend that you give it a try if you are interested in game development.
