This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Gem Emporium on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

In this game, you will take on the role of the assistant manager at the local gem shop (aka the Gem Emporium), and your job is simply to make matches of 3 or more gems on the grid. You will (in most cases) have a time limit as well as a target amount of money to earn.

The game starts out simple enough, but evolves rapidly as you progress through the levels. In Lvl 2 you are introduced to the concept of customers who will come to the shop to ask for a certain number of gems. Fulfill that request, and you are rewarded with additional money, often needed to clear the level.

Later on, you will receive access to special gems that take a couple of hits to be set off but are well worth the effort. These special gems range from bombs to fire shooters to gems that morph the gems around them.

Eventually, the game will change from having to wait for the cascade to end before matching to being able to match while gems are still cascading, and that will make for fast-paced and exciting gameplay!

Note : I made this game about 2-3 years ago and the gameplay may feel shoddy, especially in the longer levels. As such, i would gladly appreciate any and all comments to help with improving the game.
I also had plans to add more levels with progressive features and can certainly do so if demanded :)
