Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Imagine Atlantis on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Has promise as a unique experience. Figured I'd check this out as it has a handful of downloads and no reviews. As a cheapskate user I haven't spent money on this (I haven't bought the required physical colouring book from Amazon). Without the book, it is possible to experience one scene (all others show as locked and require registration using a code presumely provided in the book). You will need to get the image from their Kickstarter campaign's page (either the coloured or uncolored version) and replace the thin black border with a thicker one for it to work. The camera app, image adjustment and VR were all a bit laggy on my device, but if you have a high end smartphone a year or two old I imagine it'd run fine. For what it is the half gig download and install size seemed a little excessive/prohibative, but again to people with higher end devices this is probably fine.

The app crashes whenever I try to select a drawing, so I'm not able to actually do anything with the app :/
