The game is not controlled by you at all. The bot will decide whether it wants to let you win or not, period. Graphics and concept are cool, but with regards to handling, it's garbage. Has nothing to do with level in the game. All I can imagine is that the makers want you to spend the money to upgrade player skills in order to win anything after a certain point.

You mean I have to watch an ad before each match unless I spend money? Screw that. The game sucks anyway. You'll move to one side of the court to hit a shot and it's near impossible to move your player across court to hit your opponents return shot. I tried doing backspin shots and it tells you "swipe down is locked until level 9". What's with that? I really don't see the reason for locking a tennis shot that any amateur player can do in real tennis.

For mobile tennis this one is the best. And believe me I've tried them all, but with that said it's kind of annoying how the games are six points and 10 points only and not divided into sets like actual tennis. And another thing I didn't like is how you can't put topspin or side spin on your serves, everything like that is automated. So for that reason I gave it only 4/5 stars. All in all it's a great game as I've been playing it now for about a year and it's my favorite game on my phone.

I started off slow. I would swipe out alot and still do sometimes. At first it was a bit annoying. Once i got my stats up...i started to win matches. This game feels really good. I play World of Tennis Roaring 20s and this is the perfect upgrade to that game. I just wish it was on PC as well. I love the different tournaments and the way the match stadiums look. I also love the colors and the customization. Great game so far. However the season pass isnt my favorite. So 4 of 5 for me.

Decent game with some frustrating gameplay. When you hit the ball it says "perfect" and then ball goes out. It was clearly not a perfect shot if the ball is out. Also, it is clear the game limits your abilities. The player will just stop running for the ball even after you've moved the player to that position. I enjoy the game and having knowledge of tennis does help but just gets frustrated when the computer is limiting you.

Some of the automated elements of play can be unpredictable, but on the whole this game balances easy play mechanics and skill well. I really appreciated the training modules, as I like to practice without pressure at times. Ads are mostly voluntary, and while it's possible to buy your way to easier wins, I think it's possible to continue improving without spending a lot. Overall a satisfying game.
