I ended up buying the full version of the game. For $1.99 I felt it was worthwhile. The good: awesome art style, the music sets the right mood, and the story was intriguing! The bad: I felt the puzzles were overly simplistic. It also felt a bit choppy transitioning to other parts like it did. I found myself confused regarding how certain characters died and what happened to one character who vanished from the story altogether. Maybe I just blinked and missed it? But overall, I enjoyed it!

Would have starred 4 or 5 for the quality for the art and the atmosphere. Liked the free version enough to get the full game - but now can't play any of it. Selecting game from launch menu pops up the stained glass window games selection/chapters list, but try to open one of these and it just loops you back to the main menu again. Can't even access the free chapter. Please fix this glitch, it is very disappointing. Would like to see the story through.

This game most definitely has a lot of potential and seems to be interesting, but I didn't feel drawn enough into the game to want to purchase the next chapters. I think the game could improve a bit on its storytelling methods and improve its puzzles. Otherwise I found it enjoyable. The music was excellent for the atmosphere and I love the creepy artstyle and the little puzzles. I'll definitely be looking forward to see improvement from the developers in future games!

This isn't a game, it's ART! Each chapter is like paging through a photo album come to life. You're not meant to understand it, just helplessly experience it as you race through the puzzles for more images about this strange one-eyed boy who clearly is desperately trying to salvage a relationship with his estranged family. It's an odd journey, well worth the money I paid to unlock all the chapters. Thank you for this poetry in motion!

This is my new favourite game. The puzzles are of varying difficulty and remind me of the award winning Rusty Lake games. Once the free section is completed the opton to buy a discounted full version is offered and this is, in my mind, well worth the money. Well done.

Love the graphics....but that's about it. Very boring and slow paced, not challenging, nice graphics but they don't even give you enough time to even take a good look before it moves on to next scene.... Many very very short scenes to equal a very short first chapter... like the story concept though..... The very little it does show anyways. I was hoping this would be as good as the Rusty Lake games... bummer

● ● Game Features ● ●

The Twins, the Parents, and the Fish-Head Cult

A boy with one eye, and a boy with one arm. A broken household. An evil cult with a mysterious faith. A series of horrifying tragedies. How do these things connect?

A Fresh Visual Experience with a Unique Art Style

Life Gallery utilizes a pen-and-ink drawing style and contains more than 50 illustrations, each one immersing the player in the frightening and uncanny world of the story.

Easy to Control, Tricky to Solve

Each puzzle in Life Gallery is hidden inside an illustration. The key to solving them lies in manipulating the objects within the illustrations to progress the plot and reveal the truth about the characters--relying not just on the player’s intelligence, but on their imagination and sensitivity to the illustrations and the story.

Classical Artworks Turned into Nightmares

Classical paintings such as the Mona Lisa and Dance form the basis for multiple levels within the game, turning classical works of art into surreal and nightmarish scenarios with which the player can interact.
