Gabi idiom puzzle is a self-learning tool that helps children to learn Chinese idioms in a easy way. Different from the boring and general education model, children can master over 800 Chinese idioms through various challenging games, including Idiom Solitaire, Famous Sayings, Local Slangs and Typo. By this game, children can adopt these idioms in daily lives and enrich their thesaurus for Chinese words.



This application consists of a considerable amount of Chinese idioms, from the idioms with historical and educational meanings to the idioms describing the surrounding. With different levels, children can get a deep understanding of numerous idioms by knowing the history and story behind. Idiom Solitarie: It is formed by various horizontal and vertical cells. There are five idioms in one level, and each idiom is incomplete. Players have to put the character from the column below to the correct cell in order to form a complete idiom.

Famous Sayings: A saying is shown below and it is incomplete. Players have to choose the right character from the lion’s teeth to form a complete saying.

Local Slangs: A sentence is shown on the road sign and players have to choose a slang with the closest meaning of the sentence.

Typo: An idiom is shown and players have to pick up the correct character from the street food vendor to complete the idiom.
