This is a fun and unique Basketball game and uses real physics! You can throw the ball high, you can throw the ball low, you can throw the ball soft, you can throw the ball hard! Figure out the best strategy for scoring the most points possible in the allotted time. The game is simple so anyone can easily learn how to play it, but has deep mechanics which makes it difficult to master. There is no other Basketball game like this on the app store!
The game utilizes a unique Mission system. The Mission System gives the user three different objectives to complete. Once all of the objectives have been completed the user levels up and earns a reward! As you play the game more and get to a higher level, the objectives become harder and harder, and this provides the player with a fresh challenge to complete every game they play. The game also has 38 different achievements, that will keep you hooked for a long time.
Every game you play and every time you level up you earn coins, and these coins can be used to buy a whole boatload of things! You can use the coins to buy 7 different backgrounds, that really freshen up the experience! There are 50 different throwable objects ranging from paper balls, tomatoes, grenades, all the way to tacos! There are also of permanent upgrades you can purchase as well such as time added to the timer bar and improved power-ups.
Speaking of power-ups this game features 4 different fun power-ups! The Clock power-up adds time to the timer bar and is great when you are running low on time! The Basketball Backboard power up temporarily adds a lid to the back of the trash can which really makes it easier to make baskets! The Wide Lid power-up makes the trash can wider temporarily which definitely improves your chances of making a basket. Finally the Points Booster power-up increases your points total greatly when you hit it!
Paper Basketball keeps track of all of your stats! This includes all kinds of stats such as how many baskets you have made, how many shots you've missed, your all time best score, how many power ups you have gotten, how many backboard shots you have made, and so much more! You can also view single game stats after every game you play. The deep tracking of statistics makes each game of Paper Basketball that much more enjoyable because you can view your stats and see what areas you need to improve.
When you combine all of these elements, Paper Basketball is a fun and addicting arcade physics game that will keep you playing for a long time. You can play it for a short, brief period (between classes, during break) or for extended periods of time and it will keep you entertained. The addicting quality of the game comes from the fact that you will be consistently improving and feel that you can always beat your last score.
