Love this game! Great for playing during short breaks. Nice clean interface. Auto saves, playable offline. Haven't encountered any bugs or other game-breaking issues.There are even on-screen quotes by notable people. No intrusive permissions, requires only full network access, as of ver 1.05. Many thanks to the devs; I will definitely look out for your future games. Please consider an email newsletter if possible, for those of us who don't use Twitter but are eager to hear about your next game. Update: Have just subscribed to your newsletter, thanks very much!

This game has one mode, and there are tricks that make it easier, but that makes it a good waiting-in-line game; it's kind of like doing word searches, but a bit more mental and less just visual.

Really fun and enjoyable game to fill in time. Nice interface - very clean. If I had to change something, it would be nice to arrange the words down below to my liking. By no means does this take away from a great experience however.

A quite pleasant game, testing both vocabulary and pattern recognition (can you make headway in the game without knowing what any of the words are? Not quite, but you may start to think so).

Just the right amount of challenge and good for short sessions. Would like the ability to freely arrange the pieces in the lower area to help with brainstorming, and a setting to make the background black for AMOLED screens.

Game is quite challenging. I'm learning new words from the game too! Hopefully they add a dictionary feature, where you can just check what a certain word means after completing the puzzle.

FIVE WORDS - Train your brain with a new type of word game puzzle!
Rearrange tiles to create a square of 5 five letter words that read the same across and down.

Five Words is an easy to learn and easy to play word game. Just drag the letter tiles at the bottom of the screen to the square at the top to create a grid of 5 words that read the same across and down. So if the first word across is "WORDS" then the first word down must be "WORDS" as well, and so on. The levels are not timed allowing you to play at your own pace and your current game is saved if you need to leave and come back later. The minimalist interface was designed for tablets and phones.

Unlike other word games out there, Five Words does not require you to download additional puzzle packs to keep playing. All one million+ unique puzzle combinations are included for free. Also, unlike other word games where many of the words sound made up, we use mostly common everyday English words for our puzzles. Though, we did leave a few in so you can learn some cool 5 letter words.

Five Words was loosely inspired by the "Sator square" an ancient Latin word square found buried in the ash of the volcano Mount Vesuvius in the ruins of Pompeii. Other versions have been discovered in historic sites around the world. And now this mysterious relic is updated and available right on your mobile device for your puzzle-solving pleasure!
