not super well optimized, kinda held together by bubble gum and string, tutorials don't really explain the main game concept... but i got really into playing this for a while. It gets deep, and the AI tends to surprise me.

About this app

IF YOU ARE READING THIS:
You are among the first wave of players to find this little game I uploaded earlier today. My first release, and I think it's a gem. I'm working towards a release on SteamVR, but I made an android port 'cause i can't seem to put it down. A bit buggy, and I need your help to see what else is/isn't working ;)
Its free, zero permissions, so let me know what you think and leave a (hopefully) nice comment with a fair rating and any bug reports. <3 thank you
(Known bugs listed at the bottom, as well as tips to get around the missing tutorial voiceovers. Fix coming tommorow, but I'm so happy you are playing this!)
------------------------------------------

S.P.D is a slow-paced strategic space-fighter sim. Just setup your teams with bombers and fighters and then dive into the action, pilot your ship around the station, watch your radar and lock onto enemies. With two powerful lazers and a 50-meter 'fast boost' teleport, winning the battle is a matter of carefully planning your attacks, keeping distance from bombers and chasing down enemy fighters as they dodge and weave through space. Adjust power to different components of the ship: shields, blaster recharge, boosters, and check the live map for positioning info. Make smart choices. Stay alive. Defend the station!

Your ship is equipped with an intelligent autopilot, so if pilot life isn't for you, hit the EJECT button! Your grappling-gun can get you around on the battlefield faster than your main ship can, or grapple onto another ship to take a ride. In first-person mode, your main blaster can still do damage to enemy fighters (not nearly as much as those lazers on your ship, though!) so even if you lose your main ship, you can still influence the battle and guide your team to victory! When an enemy ship reaches low health, you can board the ship yourself and reprogram the autopilot to start fighting for your team.

There are dozens of ways to play the game, but only the most skilled pilots will stand a chance on the highest difficulty settings.

Good luck out there.
Defend your station!

Tutorial Help:
------------------
1.shoot all bombers, then shoot all fighters when riding ship
2. shoot all ships. Bonus for distance
3. shoot all ships. Use jets to move
4. Grapple towards blue markers
5. Destroy Drones
6. Takeover enemy ship
7. Fly through rings
8. Destroy debris
9. Destroy red army

(known bugs)
if you board an enemy ship, and it blows up while you are inside it, game will crash.
-Tutorial voiceovers aren't totally clear, some are still missing. I'll get them in there asap.
-First-person 'aim' marker seems to drift after riding on a ship, making targetting difficult. I gotta look into this....
-Problem with touch overlay getting stuck/doubled up after pause

New features

*bunch of performance optimizations, should run smoother in general
*added 'B-wing" style fighters and tweaked the procedural generation to make more interesting ships
*now tracking overall win/loss in all difficulty categories.
