Just take it down since it will never be finished. It is way too slow.

WHY WASNT THIS FULLY MADE INTO A GAME! This game is really really good hell not good amazing the idea of the game is stupendous and it's a idea spawned from one of my most favorite games shadow of the colossus. I would of loved to see this fully bloom into a game

Only wants one unnecessary permission, and that's easily denied on my Samsung phone (deny Location permission) and my Huawei tablet (deny data and Wi-Fi access). Loses one of its four stars on behalf of those who have no such options.

I could handle this if the travel wasn't so darn slow. Speed me up some...plzzz

Lack of hints or guidance would probably deter a lot of people from giving it a chance; not to mention the extremely slow pace the game carries. Despite of all that being said, The Desert is still an enjoyable experience. If I had to compare it to anything, it would be a Minecraft-Journey. It could be that the creator bluntly went for a similar feel although not as grandiose in scale or aesthetic as its somewhat (in my opinion) inspiration, it is still good regardless. Unorthodox? Yes. Rewarding? Perhaps...

I haven't figured the lore out because i have a problem. There is a spot with a giant black doorway. You touch it and a spiral stair case appears. Your character will not jump onto the first step so you can not go up there. Please fix that! Also the movment speed for me is fine but it seems like a rather common complaint. I would recommend something like a sprint button or a in game sprint meter, just in case some people don't want to go any faster. Besides that i love the game! It's now one of my favorites

About this app

The first of four intertwined CreateOCon Studios. dream sequence games.

STORY
The Desert is a vague open-world exploration game inspired by "Myst" and "Shadow of the Colossus". The game takes place in an uninhabited desert, in which the player must explore at there own will to discover the history of the desert's's design. The Desert holds many architectural wonders that tell a story of a forgotten land; your existence in said land is the mystery that the player must find.

The player assumes the role of an unidentified figure, who has been exiled from an unspecified kingdom for crimes he/she did not commit.(The lore will fill the story in... and will be updated constantly)

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The Desert was designed with the intention of creating a very casual and soothing exploration experience; with that in mind, there is no action... only story and mystery. It's a pretty simple game.
