As a fan of board games that use dice-placement mechanics, I was glad to finally see a video game try its hand at this. Gambit Dungeon does not disappoint in that regard, as you are faced with interesting decisions created by the combination of your roll and of the various dice modification effects every turn. The game also shakes things up quite a bit in terms of rules modifications so that the dice placement fun never gets stale. Given that this is the core gameplay, Gambit Dungeon goes beyond

Finally beat the first level(after like 20 play throughs), and now it traps my dice every round. Took long enough to get that far for it to auto get harder. Now I die by level 2 each time. Shouldn't be like that. Could be a better game, should be able to remain current hardness, or choose difficulty.

Kinda feels like a free version of Dicey Dungeons. I know you spent a lot of time on this but try to change the game a small amount to not make it feel like a free version of a game that I could just buy, This is still a really good game ngl.

Your game sent me a notification the instant i lost a game.... What makes you think im not in a game 1 frame after losing? Also having some enemies that can just do over 10 damage a turn regardless of the dice they get isnt fair in any way i needed a perfect turn to just do 12 and they just need 3 dice higher then a 1 to do that and they would crit on top of that:update: the enemy i was talking about was the very first boss i can understand later levels being hard not the first boss

I now start every game cursed and trapped out the wazzho. It's been fun, but I can't really play much with the curse. Traps were bad enough, but the auto curse is just terrible.

Extremely fun and extremely challenging. There are so many different mechanics, challenges, and abilities that it's honestly difficult to even describe the game or talk about. The game never feels unfair or like you have to pray to the RNG Gods for a win. The best part of this game is the constant undercurrent of strategy that rewards you for creative solutions and unconventional thinking. The art and dialogue are brilliant.
