About this app

Poker Grid is a fun and challenging game where you score points by making poker hands on an interlocking grid. The better the hand, the more points you score. You can play Poker Grid as a solitaire game, you can play against a friend, or you can test yourself against Poker Grid's artificial intelligence.

The single pack game is played with 52 cards on a 16-hand grid. This game is completely free and does not have any adverts. A small in-app purchase (£1.49 / €1.59 / $1.49) allows you to also play the double pack game. This game is played with 104 cards on a 32-hand grid.

When you begin playing you see a grid of empty 5-square poker hands interlocked like a crossword. During the game you make poker hands to fill the grid. You score points for each hand you make, based on its strength, from 1 point for Ten High up to 250 points for a Royal Flush.

The object of the solitaire game is to score as many points as possible by making strong poker hands. You can win medals with high scores. If you play against a friend, you play one after the other. When you have both played, you will be shown the two scores and the winner. If you choose to play against your phone or tablet, you can select one of three AI levels. You play first, and then your device plays. Again, the two scores and the winner will be displayed at the end of the game.

Like the real game of poker, Poker Grid is a blend of both luck and skill and can be both intellectually challenging and very enjoyable.
