Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WorLdSearch on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

WorLdSearch is based on the popular Wordsearch puzzle, where a number of words are hidden in a grid of letters.

When you start WorLdSearch up for the first time, or when you press the NEW button, a fresh puzzle is created for you. Hidden in the puzzle are the names of 10 or so different countries. These countries are also indicated by a star on the world map. For all but the most difficult puzzles, the chosen countries, and the continent to which they belong, are listed when you press the HELP button.

If you think you have spotted a country, click on each letter or drag your finger down to the last letter. If you are correct, the country name changes colour and the appropriate star explodes then disappears from the map. When you have found all the hidden countries, a congratulatory message is displayed, telling you how long you took to solve the puzzle.

Press the NEW button on the menu bar to see a completely new puzzle. If, at any time, you cannot find all the countries, press the SOLVE button.

If you do not have a touch screen, you can always use your D-pad, trackball or keyboard to solve a WorLdSearch puzzle.
